On October 3, 2008 Mr. Pejman Kazemi and Mr. Jared Bancroft, two PhD candidates in the PLAN Group at the University of Calgary, gave presentations they had given at the ION GNSS 2008 conference in Savannah, GA. Mr. Kazemi’s presentation was titled Comparison of Assisted and Stand-Alone Methods for Increasing Coherent Integration Time for Weak GPS Signal Tracking [download here] for which he won a Best Presentation Award. Mr. Bancroft’s presentation was titled Twin IMU-HSGPS Integration for Pedestrian Navigation [download here].
